Your function:

You are responsible for developing and managing the annual budgeting process, including forecasting and variance analysis, you conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, & opportunities for cost savings & efficiency improvements. Collaboration with department heads and business units is needed, to provide financial insights & support decision-making. Furthermore you monitor cash flow, liquidity, and financial health of the organization and prepare financial reports, summaries, and presentations for senior management and reporting to headquarters. You can ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure compliance with accounting standards (IFRS and BE GAAP), regulations, and internal policies and implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets. You value operational Efficiency and DX and will analyze business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and coordinate the implementation (for example integration of OCR/RPA, automation of excel reportings, ...) Next to that, you develop and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. You can lead the implementation of software and systems upgrades (SAP4Hana, Maximo, AZO, ..). Your teamleading skills are on point.

Your profile:

You have a master’s degree in Economics and proven experience as a Business Controller or in a similar financial management role.

You have strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting

SAP, excel, PowerBI and other financial software hold no secrets for you.

You are excellent analytical, problem-solving, and have strong communication skills. You have strong leadership and team management abilities and have the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

For this function you’ll need a high level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail and be able to cope with strict deadlines for reporting
