Then this role at Sumitomo Bakelite Europe (Ghent) NV is made for you.Your challenge:As an EHS Coordinator / Prevention Advisor level 1, you are the driving force behind our safety, health and environmental policy, 'Zero Accidents Policy + Safety First'. You combine technical knowledge with strategic insight to analyse risks, improve processes and guide employees in working safely and sustainably.Your impact and responsibilities:

• Performing in-depth risk analyses and workstation analyses.
• Optimizing work processes and installations from a safety, health and environmental point of view.
• Coordinating audits, inspections and conformity checks.
• Preparation of action plans and cost-benefit analyses.
• Advising on technical adjustments and prevention measures.
• Raising awareness and training employees and teams.
• Reporting and monitoring KPIs and prevention objectives.
• In collaboration with the environmental coordinator, following up on changing welfare and environmental legislation.

• Diploma Prevention Advisor level 1.
• Bachelor/Master in a technical field (e.g. engineering, safety technology, industrial sciences).
• At least several years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Language skills: Dutch and English are required.
• Strong in analyzing, planning and communicating.
• Hands-on, with an eye for detail and the bigger pic
