European Sales Representative

Sumitomo Bakelite High Performance Plastics ( SBHPP ), is part of a Japanese holding and one of the market leaders in the Phenolic Chemistry and Thermoset Materials. There are 3 active production sites in Europe; Genk, Gent and Barcelona. In Genk, Sumitomo Bakelite Europe NV, produces phenolic resins being used as a semi-finished product in multiple applications within aviation, car industry, construction etc.

• Develop and execute regional plans to achieve KPIs,
• Enhance existing customer relationships
• Identify new opportunities with current customers and prospects
• Serve as a crucial link between our customers and our company, analyzing customer needs, offering tailored solutions, and introducing innovative products and applications
• Manage the entire sales process within your region, supported by R&D, Production, Customer Service, and other departments
• Be part of an international team with colleagues in Belgium, Spain, and India, reporting directly to the Sales Director

• You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree but most importantly you have a least 5 years of relevant experience as a Sales Representative
• You are fluent in Dutch and English, with proficiency in French and a good knowledge of German
• You are proactive and ready to take on responsibilities
• You know how to tackle things and are eager to learn
• You are an excellent communicator who loves to sell
• You are team player
